Our Summer Music Camps welcome gifted young students of violin, viola, cello and piano into a richly supportive musical community. Musicians under 18 from around the world are welcome during summer time to spend several weeks on our beautiful and safety region at the Swiss Alps.
The heart of our Summer Camps teaching philosophy lies in the development of the whole person – not just the musician. A rigorous yet non-competitive approach creates a nurturing environment, where each student is encouraged to take risks and discover their individual voice. Performance opportunities every week give students the chance to refine their repertoire for supportive audiences as well.
Different outdoor activities and excursions are also carried out during the camp.
Duration
We recommend campers to spend the 2 weeks with us, since during the first days, children get acclimated to the place and new friends, and it is from the third day on that they usually begin to enjoy the experience to the fullest.
We would love to welcome all candidates who wish to register, however our school keeps the family spirit also in summer, so the number of places is limited. Reservations are processed in strict order of arrival until cover the maximum quota.

2022 Summer Camps
Summer Camp 1: From 8 August to 14 August
Summer Camp 2: From 15 August to 21 August
Once we have received your application form and desirable weeks, we will confirm you if dates are still available or will suggest you alternative weeks. We will provide you bank account information in order to confirm the place.
Price
The weekly price for the summer camp is 1,690 CHF. Includes pick up and drop off at Geneva airport and transfer to Château d’Oex if needed, 3 individual lessons of the main instrument, chamber music rehearsals, boarding house residence on a full board basis, various activities and excursions in the region (activities usually vary according to the weather ) and participation in the final concert of the week if the teacher considers that he/she is ready to perform in public.
